How should I store the ink cartridges for my Inkjet printer or All-In-One?
You can find specific storage information for your printer's genuine Epson ink cartridges in the HTML User's Guide that accompanies your product. For products that can also be used without a computer, information is also contained in your printer's Basic Operation Guide.
Generally, we recommend storing cartridges in a cool, dark place. After bringing a cartridge inside from a cold storage site, allow it to warm up at room temperature for at least three hours before using it.
Store ink cartridges with their labels facing upward. Do not store cartridges upside down. For PictureMate cartridges, store each photo cartridge so that the bottom of its packaging faces down.
Cartridge life
Do not use a cartridge if the date on the package has expired; otherwise, it may result in reduced print quality.
For best results, use up the cartridge within six months of installing it into the printer; the recommended temperature is at 25°C (77°F).
Temperature
This specification varies on your printer cartridge. Most of our inkjet cartridges carry the following specifications:

Freezing* | -16°C (3.2°F) |
* Ink thaws and is usable after approximately 3 hours at 25 ˚C (77 ˚F). |
